Hello! I'm Jo, originally from the UK, but South Africa has been my home since 1990, during which I’ve lived in its three major cities. With 15 years of experience in fashion retail, I took the leap into business ownership by purchasing a café in Umhlanga Rocks, which I ran for five memorable years.
When I'm not in the kitchen, I’m a proud mother to a son who lives in the UK. I also share my life with my amazing partner.. We’ve recently settled in Simbithi, Ballito, where we look forward to new adventures and exciting opportunities.

Moving from Cape Town to Durban marked a fresh start, not just in location but in my career. Inspired by MasterChef Australia, my love for food grew from a hobby into a passion.
That passion led me to buy a café, serving corporates with hearty breakfasts, lunches, and platters—the first step in bringing my dream to life.
